About Us
Southern Horticulture is a family-owned complete garden center company that began in 1979. All of the owners have more than 30 years experience each in the horticulture industry. Two of Southern Horticulture’s owners obtained degrees in horticulture from the University of Florida and Berea College in Kentucky.
At Southern Horticulture, we consider all of our employees to be our second family. The input of our employees is very valuable to us. Our staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.
We give back to the community whenever possible, donating plants to such causes as the local Habitat for Humanity home building projects. Southern Horticulture also supports the Florida Wildlife Federation, St. Johns Riverkeeper, Florida Native Plant Society and Slow Food USA.
